||Landslide is one of the most damageable geological hazards to people and facility in the world. So, there are many efforts to prevent the landslide and to decrease the damage from the landslide. One of the efforts, there are many researches for mapping of the landslide susceptibility. Recently, the Geographic Information System (GIS) have developed and used widely, the GIS have used to the landslide susceptibility mapping very frequently and now the GIS become the main tools to mapping of landslide susceptibility. So, the status of landslide susceptibility mapping using GIS have reviewed by number of paper, year, study area, number of landslide, causing factor and applied model using the 773 articles for last 20 years (1999-2018). As the result, the number of study have increased year very rapidly, the total study area are 65 countries and 47.3% of the study areas are China, India, South Korea and Iran, the number of landslide showed 77.4% at less than 500, slope and geology are most used as causing factor and logistic regression and frequency ratio models are most used model. The trend of causing factor and model were analyzed. The causing factor showed similar by year but the model showed that the machine learning model has increased by year. The more study area should be studied for general and accurate result. Also, the more causing factor especially related to topography and soil should be used and the more machine learning model should be applied. Also, not only landslide susceptibility map, but also, the landslide hazard and risk map should be studied in the future.
