Visit of Kazakhstan Ambassador to KIGAM
The Kazakhstan Ambassador to Korea, H.E. Bakyt Dyussenbayev, visited Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM, President Dr. Pyeong-Koo Lee) on March 11, 2022. The purpose of today’s visit was to promote the MOU signing between countries for mineral explorations and resource utilization in Kazakhstan in the future.
On this day, KIGAM’s experts gave presentations on mineral exploration technology and had a Q&A session with the embassy observation.
President Lee said, “KIGAM is the only research institute specializing in geological resources in Korea with a history of more than 100 years with many excellent technologies, specializing mineral exploration technologies.” He also mentioned that KIGAM will do our best to actively promote cooperation between Korea and Kazakhstan, which will be mutually beneficial.
