Geoanalysis Center
The Geoanalysis Center provides specialized testing and analytical services in the fields of geology, resources, and the environment as an internationally accredited testing laboratory (KOLAS-ILAC). The center continuously enhances its analytical infrastructure through the introduction of new analytical equipment and the development of analytical technologies. It is also improving analytical efficiency and precision by developing automated sample pre-treatment devices.
Major Activities
- Operation and certification of KOLAS-ILAC
- Providing online analysis services (https://gac.kigam.re.kr)
- Introduction of new analytical equipment (HS-IRMS, FE-EPMA, etc.)
- Development of automated pre-treatment devices for AMS and ICP
- Development of isotope and inorganic analysis methods
