Knowledge Dissemination & Training Department
We operate various educational programs to disseminate knowledge and cultivate talent in the field of geoscience and mineral resources. These programs include disseminating knowledge from various R&D projects, training future experts, and inviting experts to enhance our researchers’ capabilities. Specifically, through education, we support the expansion of human networks for overseas resource development, contributing to the stable supply of mineral and energy resources, which are key national strategic assets. We also promote educational donations to youth and operate public communication programs to raise awareness of the value and importance of geoscience and mineral resources. Furthermore, we support research activities through the operation of Korea's only specialized geoscience and mineral resources library. We also publish essential materials such as geological maps and register geological maps as cultural assets.
