Carbon Utilization Research Department
The Carbon Utilization Research Department is dedicated to developing CO2 conversion technologies based on mineral carbonation. We focus on sustainable and low-carbon technologies using natural minerals and industrial by-products such as slag and gypsum. We conduct research that links lab-scale carbonation reactions using various materials with pilot-scale demonstrations for industrial application. Through this approach, we aim to enhance the practicality and industrial applicability of carbon utilization technologies.
Major Activities
