Mineral Exploration and Mining Research Center
The Mineral Exploration and Mining Research Center is conducting research into smart mineral exploration technology based on digital twins. We are developing critical mineral exploration and resource estimation technologies based on 3D geological modelling, as well as an integrated exploration and mining platform, and smart geophysical exploration and mining technologies utilising drones and AI. Using aerial and precise ground-based geophysical exploration, we systematically survey national mineral resources, conducting research to secure domestic and international mineral resource supply chains and address social issues.

- Application of KIGAM digital twin platform technology to the KHAG Ni mineralization zone in Mongolia
- Building an integrated platform for assessing critical mineral resources based on AI-ICT-Cloud.
