Geological Museum
The Geological Museum is the only specialized museum established by a government-funded research institute in Korea. As a place where people can easily understand and learn about the Earth, we systematically collect, preserve, and exhibit domestic and overseas geological specimens, such as minerals, rocks, and fossils, which are clues to the Earth's formation and evolution. In addition to basic research on collected specimens, we are also leading the way in popularizing geological science through various educational programs and special exhibitions.
