The Resource Materials Research Center serves as a hub for materialization and application technologies, taking charge of the final stage in the resource utilization field that connects resources to industrial materials and driving technological expansion. It contributes to securing high value-added materials from domestic and international geological and recycled resources.

- Development of materialization and application technology for natural minerals and circular resources
- Research on extraction and materialization of rare metals based on water resources
- Development of 2D materials and hydrogen-related technology based on circular resources
- KIGAM-Hyundai steel carbon reduction technology cooperation MOU and joint research performance
- LFP recycling technology development and technology transfer
- Development of high-efficiency lithium recovery technology from low-grade salt lakes
