KOREA INSTITUTE OF GEOSCIENCE AND MINERAL RESOURCES

President Ho Wan Chang inaugurated as the 16th president of the Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources(KIGAM). KIGAM had inauguration ceremony with staff members including former president, Chairman Uk Han of Korea Research Council for Industrial science and Technology, and other exclusive visitors in the KIGAM's Grand Auditorium on September 10th, 2008. 

The newly inaugurated President Chang praised the great pride of tradition,  history, and merit of unchallengeable status domestically and internationally as the leading research institute in his inauguration speech. President Chang also encouraged fellow staff members to introspect objectively for leaping toward future where KIGAM eventually can charge of greater responsibility that human race is facing today such as rapid changes of climates and ecosystem.
