Introduction
The Resources Recycling Research Center strives to secure and commercialize domestic and non-metal raw materials through research and developing eco-friendly processes for secondary resources. We are taking the lead in realizing 2050 carbon neutrality goals by developing new extractive metallurgical technologies and eco-friendly recycling processes with low-carbon emissions to secure strategic metals.
Major Activities

- Development of open platform resource recovery technologies based on materialization for unutilized high-grade solid scraps to prevent outflow overseas. Development of open platform resource recovery technologies based on materialization for unutilized high-grade solid scraps to prevent outflow to overseas
- Development of an eco-friendly electrochemical recycling system for the production of high-purity (>99.5%) lithium and lithium compounds
- Development of critical metal recovery technologies (capacity of 200 kg/day) from low-grade solid wastes for the foundation of open access recycling platform
- Development of Magnesium Oxide Manufacturing Technology and Applied Productization Technology Using Magnesium-Containing Waste Resistance
